The chalet is located in the heart of the Val Sulens in the Manigod area. You can walk a short distance to the ski areas of Croix Fry and Merdassier, or drive 10 minutes to the charming village of Manigod. Visit the village bar/ restaurant and bakery to sample the local fare: fresh, woodfired oven-baked baguettes and the local farm-made Reblochon and Tomme de Savoie cheeses. Or stop by the 17th century Church and the local craft shop. Services such as the tourist office, general store, tabac and hairdresser's are conveniently nearby. La Clusaz Nestled in the heart of the Aravis massif, the farming village of La Clusaz is one of the oldest ski resorts in the French Alps and offers all the conveniences of a top ski destination - minus the crowds. Just a 10 minute drive from La Luciole, the recreational area of La Clusaz couldn't be more convenient. The La Clusaz slopes can be accessed from Le Croix Fry, just a few minutes drive up the road. Le Grand Bornand Just a half-hour drive from the chalet, the pistes at Grand Bornand offer a great alternative to the slopes of La Clusaz. A favourite among locals, it's the ideal ski area for families. Or visit the pretty village of le Grand Bornand and see the traditional savoyarde farmhouses dotted along the banks of the river Borne.
