Only 35 mins. from the chalet the beautiful lake and town of Annecy is a 'must-see'. Spectacular mountain peaks surround the pure waters of the lake, where you can take a boat trip or enjoy numerous water sports, swimming, sailing, canoing,etc In Annecy old town wander through the narrow cobbled streets and flower decked bridges along the canals .There are numerous historic buildings to visit including the old prison and 12th century Chateau d'Annecy. Annecy hosts a spectacular firework display the first Saturday in August.
