Situated in the French Alps at an altitude of 1250 metres in a rural, unspoilt area, the chalet faces south with stunning views across the valley to the snowcapped mountains of the Chaine des Aravis, Mont Charvin, and La Tournette. It is ideally situated for both summer and winter holidays, with the nearest slopes just 2.5 km away.
Your hosts are Monica and Alan Benstead, the resident-owners of La Luciole since 1994. Enthusiastic skiers and hikers themselves, they will share with you their extensive knowledge of the Haute-Savoie region, which includes La Clusaz, Manigod, Grand Bornand, and Annecy.
The cosy and well-equipped chalet is divided into three apartments, all with amazing views. Monica and Alan live discreetly on the ground floor and are always on hand to make sure that your holiday runs smoothly. The other two apartments are on the 1st and 2nd floors and can be let either together (as a group or family booking) or separately. It is a very good arrangement and gives the utmost flexibility. There is a wonderful atmosphere here and people return again and again to enjoy the warm hospitality and knowing they will have a super holiday. There is so much to see and do in the area or just relax and unwind.
